Sweet Maddie fell from a kitchen chair one morning recently. She landed right on her head on the wood floor, and we felt like we needed to have her examined to be sure nothing was wrong that we couldn't see. She ended up being fine, but because it was early on a Sunday morning, our pediatrician's office wasn't open. So we spent a few hours in the ER, entertaining ourselves in between examinations and observations. She was a champ and a charmer, as usual.
