A few weeks ago when our power went out, we spent the evening at Aunt Cheryl's house. She lives a convenient 2 or 3 blocks away (but somehow still had power!). After packing up dinner and pjs, we went over to have an indoor picnic followed by baths in her huge tub. Then the kids watched Sprout while I fed Maddie before heading home to bed.
I rarely get pictures like this of the 4 of us doing everyday things. I love having them. It's like being on the outside looking in on our life. A very different perspective from my typical vantage point! (Up to my eyeballs in diapers / bottles / sippies / dirty laundry / dishes / etc. - which makes it hard to see much else!)
