Easter Sunday found us at church (with mommy strolling Ellie through the halls with another friend and her little one during the sermon!), then at my parents' house for the rest of the day. We had a tasty ham lunch - my mom is a culinary genius! - and grilled burgers in the rain for dinner. In between the food, we talked, napped (the babes), and enjoyed teaching Robbie how to hunt Easter eggs. I dressed Ellie up and put a ridiculous flower petal headband on her. We celebrated Rob's 30th birthday also! I'm so glad he gets to pave the way for me, I'm not thrilled about my upcoming 30th this summer. I'm just focusing on the excuse to get another cake from my favorite bakery, that takes the sting out of it I guess.
And we decided that the holiday called for an attempt at a family picture.
Sheesh.

Happy (belated) Easter! Looks and sounds like you guys had a wonderful day of celebration and spending time together. I always love seeing pictures of your parents and their house. Always takes me back to all the wonderful high school memories. Now, if I could just transport all of you down here! :) All the pictures are SO great -- including the family picture. Love to all of you!
love your Easter pics., and your Spring Break pictures! I am much further behind my siblings than your sister, but it made me so happy because it reminded me of always spending summers and breaks with MY sis and nephews and loving every second. :) so glad you got to be with your sister! there is no better gift than a built in best friend. :)
Great pictures! Ellie looks so cute and I love that flower headband and outfit. Both Robbie and Ellie are absolutely adorable. :) Sounds like you had a great Easter too--a lot like ours!
