Not Me Monday

I know you all just wait for Mondays, wondering what I HAVEN'T been up to... and most of the time I disappoint you because it is rare that I remember to come clean every Monday!  Usually it's Tuesday morning, and I realize halfway through my blogstalking that I missed Not Me Monday.

Well, buckle up.  I remembered today.

I have NOT forgotten (procrastinated? lacked the energy?) to take Robbie's 10 month and 11 month photos with Hippy in his glider.  It's really not that much effort to catch him in a cooperative mood, with cute (read: clean) hair and matching outfit and besides, I'm a SAHM (stay at home mom)... what else would I have to do once a month?

I am NOT backlogged with uploading pictures from my camera and sending them out on snapfish to friends and family.  I stay on top of things like that.

I certainly DON'T find myself making lunch-ish foods for breakfast because tea and toast just doesn't stick with me.  You would never find me eating a PBJ and chips with lemonade at 9am.

I do NOT find that I run out of energy halfway through changing Robbie's clothes or diaper, especially when he's fighting to get away and I have to practically wrestle him to the floor.  Twice in the last week I have NOT let him crawl around naked until I can catch my breath, and if I had, he would NEVER react by peeing on the carpet.

What didn't you do this past week?

I LOVE it!!! I am so glad you are able to openly talk about the things that you certainly would never do. I myself can't think of anything to share -- I mean I'm a SAHM, too, but I never run into problems like that. For example, I would never spend one of the very few nights I have to myself sitting on the couch watching the new episode of America's Next Top Model because I'm just too tired to move. And, I certainly didn't stay in my pajamas all day yesterday because it was cold, they were comfortable, and, let's face it, I was too preoccupied with other things (like keeping Tyler from ripping covers off our books, making sure he didn't eat mud (again), and keeping the dog from knocking him over) to take the time to change (or even care about changing)!

Man, I don't know about you, but I'm so glad I don't have to worry/think about dealing with such things! :)

(Thanks for the blog entry -- always good to hear that I'm not the only one!!! Just the encouragment I needed today!)
